Undersea Divers is proud to announce that we are now a dealer for Scubapro! As one of the largest scuba manufacturers in the world, Scubapro offers high end equipment suitable for divers of any experience level. We have some products currently available in the store with more on the way! Do not worry about the rest of our inventory, we are not removing any brands, only adding in one new one. Our service department has been fully trained and is ready to accept Scubapro gear for servicing. We look forward to showing you the new gear and helping you find equipment you are happy with! Let’s take a look at a few of our favorite new products that are available in store now.
Regulators
If you are in the market for a top of the line, reliable regulator, then look no further than the MK17 EVO / A700 / R195 regulator set up from Scubapro. The MK17 EVO 1st stage uses an air-balanced diaphragm to provide consistent and effortless airflow to the 2nd stage. The environmental seal on the 1st stage prevents freezing in cold conditions as well as protects the internal parts from unnecessary wear or corrosion by keeping water and other contaminants away from the inner workings. The A700 2nd stage is the best that Scubapro has to offer. Designed to withstand consistent rigorous diving, the all metal body provides extreme durability with superior heat exchange and exceptional performance in cold water. The all metal body also enables the use of a larger internal diaphragm to provide increased breathing sensitivity, which is controlled by the adjustment knob on the side of the regulator and allows you to raise or lower the inhalation effort mid dive. The R195 Octo is the perfect backup to complete this regulator set up. The R195 is based on a classic Scubapro design but improved by modern features and materials. Extremely reliable and built to last, this octo is highly visible and fits perfectly into any beginner or advanced diver’s set up!
Computers:
Galileo HUD
The Galileo HUD computer is one of a kind (HUD stands for Heads Up Display). This computer mounts directly onto your mask and provides you with all the information of a dive computer right in your field of view! Based on Scubapro’s very popular Galileo line of computers, the Galileo HUD uses a micro OLED screen to show you a “floating” display which allows you to focus both on the computer information and the dive environment at the same time. The hands-free design provides a constant display of your dive information without swinging your arm around looking for your dive console and the optional wireless transmitter enables you to completely remove the high-pressure hose console, allowing you to be better streamlined as you dive. The single-knob user control is simple yet extremely effective to move through menus and settings and can be easily manipulated with one hand. The computer also features a constant digital compass display on the screen, allowing you to easily navigate without having to worry about keeping the compass flat or pointed in the correct direction. Multiple staff members of Undersea Divers ordered these computers to try out, be on the look out for a detailed review of the computer in the coming months!
G2 Computer (Wrist & Console):
The G2 Computer is the evolution of Scubapro’s immensely popular Galileo Computer. Featuring a full color display, this computer is perfect for all divers from beginners to seasoned veterans! The G2’s display also allows you to select from 4 different display options to customize which information is being displayed during your dive. The rechargeable battery lasts 50 hours of dive time per charge and the full tilt digital compass makes navigating a breeze! Use a USB cable or simply connect to Bluetooth to download your dive profiles onto your phone or desktop computer. The G2 Computer comes in both wrist and console versions; the wrist version is compatible with Scubapro’s air transmitter and the console version is completely air integrated, allowing you to monitor your air and dive information all in one place!
BCDS:
Hydros Pro
A very streamlined back-inflate BCD, the Hydros Pro is one of a kind. The body of the BCD is made out of Monprene, a special rubber-like material that increases durability by greatly resisting weathering due to UV light, chemicals, and salt corrosion. The BCD comes with integrated weight pockets but if you prefer a more streamlined approach or are not a fan of integrated weights, then the weight pockets can be easily detached within seconds! Simply undo a small clip on the hip of the BCD and replace the weight pocket waistband with the included harness waistband. The Hydros Pro is also designed with travel in mind. Each Hydros Pro includes a carrying backpack that the BCD comfortably folds up in and the bag even has extra straps for holding fins! Just add your regulator to the bag and you have perfect carry-on for any dive trip! Lastly, the Hydros Pro comes with color kits that allows you to customize your BCD and match up to other Scubapro products. Available in mens and womens sizing. Hydros X:
The Hydros X is the jacket style of the Hydros Pro BCD. It offers superior lift capacity and stability compared to the Hydros Pro, making it a great option for cold water diving. Made of the same Monprene material as the Hydros Pro and Seawing Nova fins, this BCD is extremely durable and designed to last through years of rigorous diving. The Hydros X also features two large zippered pockets that are easy to access for carrying any accessories you might need on your dive! Customize your Hydros X using color kits to perfectly match your BCD with your fins or mask from Scubapro!
LightHawk BCD:
The LightHawk is a fantastic travel BCD. Lightweight and compact, the BCD easily packs into your luggage and is extremely streamlined for all your warm water diving needs! Low profile dump valves and rear mounted trim pockets reduce drag and help you maintain a balanced swimming position. The shoulder buckles rotate to allow optimal padded shoulder straps routing to enhance comfort in the water. This BCD is durable, compact, and perfect for the warm water! The LightHawk BCD is the favorite Scubapro product of Instructor Larry!
Fins:
Seawing Nova
The Seawing Nova fin is one of Scubapro’s best selling products. The fin is made of the same Monprene material as the Hydros Pro BCD which is nearly indestructible and designed to last through years of vigorous use. The unique “wing blade” allows the fin blade to pivot while you kick, providing a more efficient transfer of energy on subsequent kicks. The Seawing Nova comes standard with a bungee strap for easy donning and doffing. This fin is perfect for all different divers: it can push you through the water rapidly or be used for short leisurely kicks. Whatever your kicking style, this fin will work for you!
Mask:
Trinidad 3
The Trinidad 3 mask adds beautiful color to your dive gear. A single lens frameless mask, the Trinidad comes in vibrant colors that is perfect for accessorizing and matching with your other Scubapro gear. Want to keep a color theme going? The Trinidad mask can perfectly match the Seawing Nova fins and the color kits of the Hydros Pro BCD!
