You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this too. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level. During the 1 classroom session and 2 dives over 1 day you will learn to:
- Determine the exact weight you need, so you’re not too light or too heavy
- Trim your weight system and scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water
- Streamline to save energy, use air more efficiently and move more smoothly through the water
- Hover effortlessly in any position, vertical or horizontal
Prerequisites
Must hold a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification or higher and be of the minimum age of 12 years old.
Must complete Medical Statement
Gear Needed
- Scuba Gear: Wetsuit, BCD, Regulator with Computer or Gauges, Tank & Weights. If you rent from us you will receive the 50% off student rate!
- Personal Gear: Mask, fins, snorkel, hood, boots, gloves. Please know we do not rent these items.
Cost: $295.00
Includes: 1 Classroom session, 1 day of ocean dives (2 dives total)
Doesn’t Include: Rental Gear ( If rental gear is needed you will receive the half price student rate)

Refund Policy
All class payments are non refundable. From your registration date up until 15 days before the course start date you can reschedule to a new class with zero penalty. If you are within 8-14 days of the course start date you can reschedule to a new class with a rescheduling fee of 25% of the tuition. If you are within 0-7 days of the course start date you will owe a rescheduling fee of 50% of the tuition. If you don't show up to class, your tuition is forfeited.
